Hannah Meissner

About Me
My name is Hannah Meissner, and I am from South Lyon, Michigan. This is the city I have grown up in throughout my entire life, and I have been able to experience a variety of interests and hobbies that have shaped me into who I am today. Growing up I took part in playing softball and joining the swim team; later on I chose to continue only with swimming. I enjoy doing lots of things in my free time whether it be hanging out with friends and family or going on spontaneous adventures. I love to play sports, exercise, try new things, and be around people.
For the past four years, I have attended South Lyon East High School; I have maintained a spot on the Principal's List along with the Honor Roll. In addition, I have been involved in the National Honors Society as well as our school's student council. Taking part in these academic functions has allowed me to be helpful and somewhat prepare me for my hopeful occupation. I would love to become a medical dosimetrist someday; I have always held a passion for helping others, and recently opened up to learning more about cancer and how to properly treat it. Whether it be at home or in school, I have learned how to be more independent while possessing a self-driven mindset. I am attentive in order to learn quickly, and these qualities are crucial when it comes to medical dosimetry, or any career for that matter. To help those in need is a definite dream of mine.
My past experiences have allowed me to gain multiple skills and strengths throughout my life. Such skills include:
-
Attentive
